There are few places on Earth where humans have not walked. Yet deep in the Selinda Reserve there are such places. Here there are vast areas of woodland, places that are for lions and elephants only, or herds of buffalo that are never exposed to human pressures. This is a place where wildlife can breathe freely, unmolested and unrestrained.
The Selinda Reserve is an unfenced, wild, 320,000 acre private wildlife sanctuary straddling the Selinda Spillway with the best of both the Okavango and Kwando/Linyanti systems. Selinda's vast floodplains and ancient forests offer an authentic and timeless African experience. But what makes this reserve so special is its exclusivity. Within this massive wilderness, we only have a total of 18 guest tents in three small camps on the entire reserve.

Selinda Camp
Selinda Camp is set on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway - the waterway linking Botswana's Okavango Delta and its Linyanti and Kwando systems. A relaxed, yet luxury tented safari camp, Selinda Camp was completely rebuilt in 2007. It re-opened to much acclaim, due in part to its harmonious blend of classic tented bush camp style and contemporary amenities. The shaded camp is raised a metre off the ground affording extraordinary views over the Selinda Reserve's prolific floodplains and savannas. Dotting the landscape is the ubiquitous borassus palm, where nesting birds roost and baboons spy. The extensive raised decks, surrounding both in the main lounge and the tents, allow guests to enjoy a meal or a relaxing afternoon while still enjoying wildlife viewing. There is a hardly a moment in camp where there isn't an animal in sight.

Zarafa Camp
Zarafa Camp is blessed with an extraordinary location. The camp, positioned under the shady canopy of jackalberry and red ivory trees, overlooks the patchwork of savannas and floodplains of Zibadianja Lagoon's southern shores. These uninterrupted views are breathtaking and provide regular sightings of the Reserve's prolific wildlife.
