Single Supplement
  • The rate for a single explorer will be charged as follows:

Children
  • No children under the age of 16yrs allowed on Walking Trails
Notes
  • Minimum of 2 persons and a maximum 8 persons per trail.
  • All drinks charged for, except purified borehole water from Pafuri Camp. The trail runs on an honesty bar policy.
  • No electricity, only paraffin lamps and an open fire.
  • No laundry service is offered at this remote camp.
  • Guests over the age of 65 must supply a medical certificate of full health.
  • Unfortunately no charging facilities are available on the walking trail, due to the remoteness of the area.
  • Due to the remote locality of the overnight camps, please ensure that full dietary requirements and special occasions are advised at the time of your booking confirmation.
  • Guests need to arrive at PAFURI CAMP no later than 14:00 on the day that the trail commences. Trailists will return at approximately 11:00 on the last day. Please ensure that your travel plans to / from the trail take this into account.
  • Kruger National Park gate fees must be settled directly at the gate on entry into the park and are subject to change:
  • South African Residents – Adult: ZAR 82.00 per adult per day & ZAR 41.00 per child per day.
  • SADC Residents – Adult: ZAR 164.00 per adult per day & ZAR 82.00 per child per day.
  • International Residents – Adult: ZAR 328.00 per adult per day & ZAR 164.00 per child per day.
  • Kruger National Park gate entry times are as follows:
  • - Jan, Feb, Nov & Dec 05h30 - 18h30
  • - Mar & Oct 05h30 - 18h00
  • - Apr, Aug & Sep 06h00 - 18h00
  • - May, Jun, Jul 06h00 - 17h30
  • All visitors who are 18 years and older, must produce a positive identity document for scanning in order to gain access to the Kruger National Park:
  • SA Residents must produce their SA ID document or Driver's Licence.
  • Non SA Residents must produce their passports.
  • A General Concessionary Levy for all visitors to the Makuleke Concession in the northern Kruger National Park will apply for travel from 01 September 2017:
  • R 150 per adult per stay and R 75.00 per child under the age of 12 years per stay, which will be added to the invoice for the accommodation at the time of booking. (Subject to change)
