Getting There
- 3.5 hour drive from Johannesburg to the Welgevonden reserve gates.
- 3.5 hour drive from ORT to the Welgevonden reserve gates.
- Allow another 40 minutes to get from the reserve gate to the lodge.
- 40 minute flight from ORT to the reserve airstrip.

Please note:
- All rates are subject to availability.
- Rates are applicable to SA Residents or SADC Residents only where specified.
- Proof of SADC residency (SADC ID, work permit or endorsed passport) may be required at the time of booking or upon check-in at the lodge.
- Minimum nights stays and surcharges may apply on rates over peak holiday periods and weekends.
- Conservation Levy is a compulsory and charged per person per night.
- Transfer time from the West Gate is 12h00 unless a prior time is arranged.
- Should guests require an alternate transfer time to and from the lodge at Welgevonden West Gate, this can be done at R350 per trip per vehicle.
- Should guests require an alternate transfer time to and from the lodge at Welgevonden Main Gate, this can be done at R650 per trip per vehicle.
- Travel time to the lodge is 30 – 40 from the West Gate through the reserve.
- Check out time is 10h30 unless by prior arrangement with the lodge, subject to availability.

- Children of all ages are welcome.

- Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on game drives, unless families hire a private vehicle and guide.

About Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge – Mountain Lodge
Sediba Mountain Lodge is set atop a plateau, with spectacular vistas of the surrounding wilderness. It offers a more intimate feel – with an rim flow infinity pool and traditional ‘boma’ – and is perfect for families, groups of friends or smaller corporate getaways.
The lodge offers four spacious double suites and one family suite, in keeping with the Sediba Safari Lodge ethos of African design elements and elegant accents.
The suites share the same in-suite facilities as found at Sediba Rock Lodge.

Please enter ‘Welgevonden Game Reserve West Gate’ onto your navigation system – NOT Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge
Take the N1 north towards Polokwane
At the Kranskop toll gate go left towards Modimolle
Pass through Modimolle towards Mabatlane

Please call the lodge on +27 (0)71 334 0882 when you pass through Vaalwater.
Continue past the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve Main Gate, and continue for another 23km until you see a sign to turn left towards the Welgevonden West Gate
Turn left onto Schoongelegen Road (a dirt road)
Continue for 17km until you reach the West Gate on your left hand side
You will see signs for Sediba en route
Note, collection time is at 12h00 daily (kindly contact us should you require a later collection time)
You will leave your vehicle in a safe covered area, and get transferred to the lodge in an open safari vehicle (30 minute drive)
