About Clive’s Camp
Clive’s Camp is a six-suite safari lodge in the Greater Makalali Private Nature Reserve, west of the Kruger National Park, offered exclusively to one group at a time. The camp looks out over open plains to a waterhole where game gathers through the day.
A spacious open-plan main area – designer kitchen, lounge, dining room, bar and fireplace – opens onto a swimming pool, outdoor dining area and boma, all set within sweeping lawns. With the camp to themselves, families, friends and small private gatherings set the rhythm of each day, from game drives and bush walks to fireside dinners beneath the stars.

About Greater Makalali Private Nature Reserve
The Greater Makalali Private Nature Reserve covers some 25,000 hectares of Lowveld bushveld in Limpopo, between the Drakensberg escarpment and the Kruger National Park.
Formed in the early 1990s when neighbouring farms dropped their fences, the reserve has since been restocked with its native wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetah and African wild dog, along with more than 300 bird species.
Open savannah, riverine woodland along the Makhutswi River and rocky outcrops make for varied game viewing, and with relatively few lodges and controlled traversing, sightings are seldom crowded.
