About Babohi at Qwabi Private Game Reserve
BABOHI is a distinguished lodge exclusively for adults, topped with excellent dining and polished service. This highly modern and inviting retreat displays earthy tones, wooden finishes and warm fabrics that merge with modern coppers, marble finishes and sophisticated hues that allude to the African skies.
ROOM TYPES;
Deluxe Rooms – The deluxe Rooms range in size from 45 to 50 m2 and sleep two. A mini bar fridge is included with other amenities.
Premium Rooms – The premium Rooms range in size from 40 to 45 m2 and sleep two. These rooms have their own plunge pool and fireplace, as well as a mini bar fridge and a king size bed. An extra feature is the outdoor shower.
Suites – The suites are double-storey units that range in size from 80 to 100 m2 and sleep two. A plunge pool and fireplace add a special touch, as does the balcony with private patio. A separate lounge and relaxation and dining area is included. Suites also feature a separate guest WC.
Luxury Suites – The luxury Suites are double-story units that range in size from 80 to 100 m2 and sleep two persons each. Indulge in the plunge pool and spend intimate nights in front of the fireplace. The suites feature a king size bed, in-suite bar and a separate lounge and relaxation and dining area.
Presidential Suite – The Presidential-Style Suite measures 150 m2 and sleeps two. Exquisite panoramic views add another special feature to this suite, as does a private pool, patio and balcony. A large lounge and relaxation area awaits, as well as an eight-seater dining room table. A luxuriant indoor rain shower adds an exclusive touch.

About Waterberg Region
QWABI is located within the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, which forms part of the greater Waterberg Region in the province of Limpopo, South Africa. This reserve is one of only two UNESCO-declared savannah biospheres in Africa and is recognized as a critical biodiversity area by the South African National Biodiversity Institute. Known for its exquisite natural beauty and abundance. of wildlife, including the Big Five, and birdlife, the Waterberg region gives guests a taste of authentic African wilderness. The landscape has been relatively untouched by humans and few tarred roads exist in the area, giving those who visit an immersive bush experience. The region is also home to rivers, natural pans and streams, breath-taking mountain gorges and rock formations. that display rock paintings by the San, who entered the region thousands of years ago. It’s an area rich in scenic splendour, in restorative ambiance and in cultural depth.

Getting There
Direction From Johannesburg
- Take the N1 North to Polokwane. Take the 2nd Warmbaths/Settlers off-ramp, then turn left at the T – junction turn right towards town.
- Go over railway bridge, then turn left at the first traffic light. Follow the road around 90degree bend, cross 3 – way stopstreet. At T – junction (Spar across the street), turn left. Pass Forever Resort on the left, and continue straight until the roundabout.
- At roundabout turn left at first exit onto the R516 to Thabazimbi. From roundabout travel 31,5km until the Diepdrift road – turn right onto the gravel road.
- Travel for 8,2km and turn left at 4 – way crossing at the Qwabi sign board.
- Travel for 9,5km to T – junction, turn left and immediately pass through security check point boom gate.
- Travel for 9km and turn right at the Qwabi sign board (Rotavi on left). Continue for 6km to the end of the track and turn left at the Qwabi entrance gate.
