- 2025: Sabi Sand / Rhino Conservation Levy of R 190 (Local Residents) / R 410 (International Residents) per person per night, subject to change, will be added to each reservation invoice as an extra conservation fee. This will be charged on behalf of the Sabi Sand Reserve and will be paid over to the Reserve. A maximum of 3 nights per person per night will be charged for longer stays.

Idube Game Reserve is one of the most successful and oldest game lodge within the Sabi Sand reserve designed and built by owner Louis Marais. Safari Suites
Each Safari Suite offers more space than the previous Chalets, with an average of 87 m² of sheer comfort.

These suites are similar to the luxury Safari Suites but designed specifically for families and groups:
Two standalone private suites, each offering 167 m² of luxury and comfort, are connected by a spacious shared deck with loungers and a larger pool – ideal for family bonding and socializing.
Flexible bedding configurations – King or Twin beds in each suite.
Luxurious bathrooms with granite tiles and indoor/outdoor showers with glass roof, freestanding bath and separate WC. Individually styled African-inspired décor, fabrics and furnishings.

Makubela Suites
The Makubela suites configurations remain as before, but also boast lovely upgrades such as the sliding doors, mosquito nets over beds, windows and doors. The pools are a little larger than those of the private Safari Suites.
Elephants have been known to drink straight out of their swimming pools, an event causing much excitement even to the most jaded traveller. The location of the suites away from the more public areas of the lodge, makes them especially tranquil and perfect for romance or a special occasion.
