- Unless otherwise stated, all rates listed are strictly based on a minimum 2 night stay. Surcharges may apply for a 1 night booking.

- A minimum stay of 2 nights is mandatory over the festive period from 15 December – 15 January.
- Rates exclude a guest Conservation Levy of R 350 per person per night (subject to change). This must be settled at the lodge upon departure.
- New Welcome Lounge for Shamwari Eagles Crag: From 1 September, all guests staying at Shamwari Eagles Crag will check in at the new Northern Welcome Lounge. Guests will be transferred to the lodge which takes approximately 30 minutes.
- Recommended time of arrival for Welcome Lounge North for transfers to Eagles Crag specifically:
- • Between 12:00 – 13:00 for a 13:00 departure from the lounge to be in time for lunch
- • Between 14:30 – 15:30 for a 15:30 departure from the lounge to be in time for high tea and afternoon game drive
- • Between 16:00 – 17:00 for a 17:00 departure from the lounge last arrival for the day
- Should your arrival time be earlier or later than this, please advise reservations prior to your arrival date for alternative arrangements to be made.
- There will be a single supplement of 30% on the per person rate for single accommodation.
- Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted at Shamwari Eagles Crag.
- Children 12 years and older are considered adults and will require their own room.

Getting There
Directions by Road – Welcome Lounge North Arrivals for Shamwari Eagles Crag
- Follow the N2 out of Port Elizabeth heading towards Grahamstown (Makanda) bypassing the town of Colchester.
- 11km past Colchester use the right hand lane and continue straight on the N10 Craddock / Paterson split.
- Continue on for 43 km bypassing the town of Paterson until you reach the Alicedale signboards, turn to the right.
- Continue on for 11km on the tar road until you see the signage for Eagles Crag / Bayethe / Jean Byrd Born Free Foundation Sanctuary to your right and enter at the reserve for the Welcome Lounge North.
