About Olifants West Nature Reserve
Olifants West Nature Reserve (OWNR) is a private protected area in the Greater Kruger ecosystem in Limpopo, South Africa. The reserve borders the Olifants River and forms part of the open conservation landscape where wildlife moves freely between private reserves and the Kruger National Park.
Location:
- Situated west of the Kruger National Park near Hoedspruit.
- Covers approximately 8,900 hectares (89 km²) of pristine bushveld.
- Unfenced boundaries allow wildlife to move naturally between the reserve and the Greater Kruger ecosystem
- Easy access from Hoedspruit and Eastgate Airport
